OUR BIO COMPANY

Azienda Agricola Podere Serraglio finds its home in the Tavoliere delle Puglie, in the San Severo countryside. Its history takes shape in the ’70s when Don Enrico Cassano buys ownership of it. His love for the countryside and for the high-quality primary production led his father to pass on to his son Lorenzo and his family the link with the farm and its production, first wine and later cereals.

Over the years, various transformations have given production ever new aspects and in step with the needs of the territory. In 2018, Podere Serraglio chose to become the promoter of the ’ circular and health economy giving absolute priority to product quality. The company has chosen to sideline the hyperproductivity typical of industrial realities, maintaining its identity as a small artisanal producer attentive to the environmental issues promoted by the UN 2030 Agenda.

It thus becomes a’ BIO company that to date follows in every step the transformation of raw materials into finished products with a rigorous protocol, guaranteeing superior quality and ethics in every respect.

Podere Serraglio's BIO philosophy, in fact, only includes the use of products guaranteed by the regulations to respect the land but also the protected fauna that inhabits it, and environments that safeguard the biological integrity of wheat and olives. The wise hands of Leonardo, the farmer on the farm, know well the time it takes for the grain to ripen in the sun, and the art of olive harvesting.

Podere Serraglio scrupulously adheres to what is reported in the Reg. COMMUNITY 834/ 07 and is certified by the Control Body “Soil & Health”.
